What a week. Thankfully I'll be relaxing soon enough. Here are my simple pleasures:
Cruising Down 84
Whether I'm going east through the canyon or west through Woodside towards La Honda, 84 is one of those routes that I absolutely love. There's just something about the winding roads, the smell of the woods, and the cool air that makes me perfectly content. Now that I've got a convertible, the thrill of the drive is intensified. Looking forward to cruising through there more often with the sun shining down on my face and the wind in my hair.
I love seeing crazy colored carnations, but I think these roses really take the cake today. They're surprisingly cheerful and they smell amazing. Just what I needed to brighten up my desk!
Every two years I get a free eye exam and a credit towards glasses and a prescription. Luckily for me since my vision is nearly perfect, I don't really need to wear them all the time. Although I do have a slight astigmatism, so it makes night driving a little bit harder for me, which is when I generally wear my glasses. Of course I want to take full advantage of the deal, so I after my exam I went shopping for new frames! These are the geekiest ones I tried, and while I liked them (Calvin Klein is one of my brands), I think I'll be getting the pair of Ray-Bans I scoped out instead.
