Arm Scarf

I've been knitting and crocheting for years now, but when I found a new way to make a chunky knit scarf without knitting needles, I knew I had to try it. Maybe you've heard of it, maybe you haven't, but I knit this scarf with my arms. No, you didn't read that incorrectly. I used my arms as the knitting needles. If you know how to knit, the concept is the same and I knit the scarf I'm wearing in less than a half an hour. No joke. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my go-to, quick-and-easy projects when I'm bored, but don't feel like spending hours knitting something else.

At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I'm wearing it today, so that solved that issue. I'll be starting on another one soon and I'm thinking about doubling the yarn next time and using a different color. Maybe something neutral. I also went ahead and took the excess working yarn at the end and wove it through the start and finish of my scarf to make it an infinity style. I'm really happy with the result and I can't wait to make some more. Even though I told myself I wasn't going to do any other projects until I finished this one, I simply could not resist. I've given myself until the end of the month to finish my seester's scarf and by golly I will get it done, I just needed an in between project while I give my weary fingers a rest from clutching those darn skinny needles.
