Simple Pleasures: Work Edition

It's been a while since I've posted about simple pleasures, so in an attempt to get back into the swing of things, here we go!

Simple Pleasures at Work

An Organized Board

This space used to be a mess of random photos and notes tacked up haphazardly with Post-Its falling off left and right (sticky notes weren't exactly made for fabric). Now, it's clean and neat and I can clearly see my love in various places (and also a photo of my family dressed as elves) while still being able to reach my letter opener and flash drive. My seemingly unorganized (but still organized) pens, pencils, and highlighters are also in order. And my red stapler...did you see my amazing red stapler???

A Wireless Mouse and Keyboard

A while ago I was having back issues and I figured part of it was due to leaning over to use my laptop in the corner of my desk. Now, I have a very convenient wireless keyboard and mouse so my hands can be more ergonomically correct and I can continue to work on having better posture.

An Overhauled Date Stamp

I have severely underestimated the time-saving abilities of having a date stamp. When the year roll ran out and I was forced to write in the date, I was inconvenienced, but when the date stamp was at the stamp store and was being overhauled, I had to write the full date on dozens and dozens of documents. I'm not whining about having to do it, but I am so grateful to have it back and in excellent condition. That part of my job is now back to being done at lightning fast speed instead of a dilly-dally pace. I love being efficient at work!

Some days I just don't feel like going to work, but I do. Today is dragging, but I am so thankful to have a job, and one that I usually don't mind showing up for.
