My gym experience began again at the beginning of November when I woke up on my own at three minutes to five the Monday after the time change. I was wide awake. I contemplated going back to sleep, but realized it would only make getting up even harder later on. So I got up out of bed and prepared for my first gym experience in a long time. Luckily the gym is less than 5 minutes from my front door to theirs, so it greatly increases my odds of going. Earbuds in, bike program selected, and I was on my way to riding miles and miles. I didn't push myself as hard as I wanted to, but let's be honest, if I over did it on Day One, the chances of me returning would be extremely low. This is a delicate time after all. So when I somehow managed to wake up again on Tuesday at one minute to five, I was shocked. Wide awake once more, I donned my workout duds and hopped into the car. In no time I was pedaling round and round...and this behavior continued for the rest of the week! And the week after that. And the week after that. Though I did change over to the elliptical machine for those last two weeks. Then, the inevitable happened...I got sick. I haven't been back to the gym since. It's taken weeks for me to feel even remotely better. The next time I wake up early, I'll be heading back to the gym. The treadmill is calling my name.
And I'd like my gym rat status back.

I am still very much determined to get my boo-tah-tah back into shape because unlike the bears, I'm certainly not going into hibernation this winter. I'm by no means fat, but there is always room for improvement! This summer I'll be nice and toned once again...well, that's the plan anyway!
