Hello Gray Monday...

It's Monday. BLAH. So far I'm not stoked about this morning. Mostly because I was suddenly awake at 3:00AM due to a crying baby in the unit beneath me. I quickly solved the problem with earplugs, which were conveniently within reaching distance, but I was still displeased from being woken up at all.

Another reason I'm blah today is because this is my first day back at work from being on vacation all week. This always proves to be an adjustment. I'll get through it though. It will even be a slightly shortener day for me, too, because I have a dentist appointment today at 10:30 to get my teeth cleaned. Joy! (In case you overlooked it, that last part was sarcasm.)

I'm really trying not to be pessimistic today, but this gloomy weather right now isn't helping whatsoever. Happiness is a state of mind, so I'll be trying my best to overcome the blahness and focus on the positive things going on in my life right now...like getting my new geeky glasses in the mail!
